stretch run before the November election, conservatives have a historic
opportunity.
With your help in the upcoming election, our S.C. House Republican Caucus's
"Drive for 75" initiative is poised to make history by growing our House
majority to its highest level ever.
We need your help to build the 75+ majority in 2010 that will enable our
Caucus to tackle the major reforms vigorously fought by Democrats, build on
our legislative accomplishments that have rejuvenated South Carolina's
economy, and keep our state's family values secure.
This majority will continue to support free market economic growth and job
creation just as we have in the past building on our successes in passing
the Economic Development Competitiveness Act, investing in rural
infrastructure, reforming the broken Employment Security Commission and
giving our school districts the funding flexibility to get more dollars into
the classroom. We will also further protect your 10th Amendment Rights as a
sovereign state against an ever-encroaching federal government and Obama
Administration.
Our "Drive for 75" goal is critical to passing key Reforms:
- Voter ID to secure our state's elections and decrease voter fraud
- Business Tort Reform to stop frivolous lawsuits and let our businesses create more jobs
- More On the Record Votes to increase government transparency
- Arizona-style Illegal Immigration Reform to secure American jobs
- Spending Caps to limit government growth
